The  Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit(GIZ), the Private Sector Innovation II (PSI II) Program in Egypt is implementing the “Strengthening the Green Services Portfolio of Business Service Providers in Egypt” project.

The project will focus on supporting Green BDS providers with tools and experience. The support will be in the form of a technical training program, Business training program, mentorship opportunities, and on-the-job training with the industry. So, Green BDS providers can open up business opportunities and unlock untapped markets. The project is implemented through a consortium of Integration International Management Consultants and Chemonics Egypt Consultants. Accordingly,
The project has been investing in mapping the ecosystem and understanding the existing needs. The ultimate objective of the workshop is to validate the current state of green consultancy services and confirm the areas where further capacity development could be beneficial. Based on the discussions during the workshop, GIZ Egypt will create targeted capacity-building programs to support the growth and development of green BDS providers in the market.
In the validation workshop, we are looking forward to presenting and discussing the following items:
· Present project introduction and Green BDS definition.
· Validate the benchmark of ecosystem performance in Egypt.
· Validate identified technical and business needs for Green BDS providers.
· Present the support the selected Green BDS providers will receive, including the timeline.
